JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on ERP Manager to lead the implementation, optimization, and ongoing management of our new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. This individual will serve as the internal subject matter expert, overseeing the successful launch and adoption of the system across departments. The ERP Manager will act as a key liaison between users, ensuring our ERP platform drives efficiency, accuracy, and process improvement across the organization. This role requires a mix of technical understanding, project management expertise, and strong business process knowledge.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the end-to-end ERP implementation project, from planning and design to deployment and stabilization
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define business requirements, scope, timelines, and deliverables
  • Manage relationships with vendors and consultants, and successfully cross-collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful execution
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including schedules, progress reports, and risk assessments
  • Oversee system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and issue resolution
  • Serve as the internal ERP subject matter expert and primary point of contact for system-related issues and enhancements
  • Manage system configurations, data integrity, and overall system health
  • Identify and implement process improvements that leverage ERP functionality to streamline business operations
  • Create, maintain, and enforce ERP-related policies, procedures, and best practices
  • Collaborate with department leads to identify new automation or integration opportunities
  • Develop and deliver user training programs and documentation to promote ERP adoption
  • Provide post-launch support and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Communicate system updates, enhancements, and changes to stakeholders effectively
  • Promote a culture of data-driven decision-making through ERP reporting and analytics
  • Maintain visibility of the full project portfolio, including project health, interdependencies, and resource needs
  • Provide clear, concise updates to senior leadership on project status, risks, and key milestones

JOB QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
  • 5+ years of experience in ERP systems management, implementation, or administration
  • Proven track record leading ERP implementation or upgrade projects
  • Experience in business process analysis, system configuration, and project management
  • Strong understanding of business operations (finance, supply chain, manufacturing, etc.)
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external partners
  • Proficiency in data analysis and ERP reporting tools
  • PMP or other project management certification with strong attention to detail
  • ERP-specific certification (i.e. SAP Certified Application Associate, NetSuite Administrator, Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365, etc.)
