JOB SUMMARY
Good Culture is hiring a Deductions Analyst who will be responsible for managing, analyzing, and resolving customer deductions while supporting accurate order processing and accounts receivable activities. This role plays a key part in safeguarding revenue, strengthening customer relationships, and ensuring the integrity of financial transactions. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and capable of working cross-functionally to identify the root causes of variances and improve processes.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Invoice Processing
- Process invoices and ensure accurate and timely billing
- Compare invoices against purchase orders to confirm alignment analyzing and posting any off invoice deductions
- Process credit memos
- Cash Management
- Apply customer payments accurately
- Analyzing Invoice amount
- Amount paid vs amount due
- Highlight discrepancies
- Analyze customer remittances to validate deduction accuracy
- Highlighting by customer and by item
- Identify, document, and dispute unauthorized or incorrect deductions
- Communicate with customers to resolve discrepancies and secure repayment when necessary
- Maintain detailed records of disputed items and status updates
- Support cross-functional initiatives and special projects as assigned
- Contribute to process improvement efforts within Order Management, A/R, and Deductions
JOB QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred
- 2-3 years of experience in deductions, accounts receivable, or related financial operations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
- Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, etc.)
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
