JOB SUMMARY

Good Culture is hiring a Deductions Analyst who will be responsible for managing, analyzing, and resolving customer deductions while supporting accurate order processing and accounts receivable activities. This role plays a key part in safeguarding revenue, strengthening customer relationships, and ensuring the integrity of financial transactions. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and capable of working cross-functionally to identify the root causes of variances and improve processes.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Invoice Processing
    • Process invoices and ensure accurate and timely billing
    • Compare invoices against purchase orders to confirm alignment analyzing and posting any off invoice deductions
    • Process credit memos
  • Cash Management
    • Apply customer payments accurately
      • Analyzing Invoice amount
      • Amount paid vs amount due
      • Highlight discrepancies
    • Analyze customer remittances to validate deduction accuracy
      • Highlighting by customer and by item
    • Identify, document, and dispute unauthorized or incorrect deductions
    • Communicate with customers to resolve discrepancies and secure repayment when necessary
    • Maintain detailed records of disputed items and status updates
  • Support cross-functional initiatives and special projects as assigned
  • Contribute to process improvement efforts within Order Management, A/R, and Deductions

JOB QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred
  • 2-3 years of experience in deductions, accounts receivable, or related financial operations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
  • Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, etc.)
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
