Health-Ade’s Financial Analyst is responsible for management reporting and analysis for the FP&A team. This person is passionate about predicting the future of the business, and working closely with the Sales, Marketing, and Business Insights teams. The Financial Analyst will own the company’s primary volume forecast, including related reporting and forecast accuracy analyses, and this responsibility will give this role impact across the company. This position is highly cross-functional, assisting with goal setting across Sales and Marketing, tracking and budgeting trade spend, pricing and deal support analytics, and management reporting. The analyst will work closely with the Finance Manager, supporting analysis across Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Finance.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage a 2-year rolling forecast of all sales accounts, SKUs, and promotional lifts, directly guiding financial, purchasing, and production capacity decisions
- Work closely with Sales Operations and Production Planning to inform and advise production and purchasing within our Just Food ERP
- Analyze forecast accuracy by account and pack type to improve our forecasting process and drive confidence in the forecast
- Optimize inventory levels through a deep understanding of our forecast variance and sales order volatility
- Perform a variety of analyses to determine the impact of management decisions on the financial health of the company
- Track projected discount and allowance spend; provides reporting to Sales to help guide strategy
- Partners with Business Insights and Sales to guide promotional strategy from a financial standpoint; runs ROI analyses, sets promotional guardrails and standards, and advises on allocation of trade spend across accounts and regions
- Assist with annual and quarterly goal setting and tracking
- Prepare regular management reporting on forecast vs goal variance, our latest annual estimate, and strategy to drive incremental growth
- Collaborate with the Business Intelligence team to ensure data integrity and proactive business reporting via Domo
Qualifications
Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting/Economics

Experience in beverage / food / consumer products preferred

1+ years in an analytics-heavy role

Previous support of or experience in Sales/Marketing preferred

Strong planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills, including quantitative modeling experience

Strong attention-to-detail

Ability to live and breathe in Excel is a must; prior experience with data analytics platform Domo is a plus

Excellent communication while working in a continuously evolving organization

Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis is a plus

COMPENSATION: At Health-Ade, we know our strongest assets are our people, and we recognize our total compensation package is a huge factor in how you are recognized for the impact you have on the company reaching its goals. For this role, the estimated base salary range is between $75,000-$85,000. The actual base salary will vary based on various factors, such as market location, level of experience, and job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This role will remain posted until filled.
