Health-Ade is looking for a Operations & Sanitation Supervisor tooversee the 2nd shift at our Torrance facility. The Operations & Sanitation Supervisor will be responsible for the following:

Responsibilities:

  • Production Operations:
    • Supervise a team of production personnel, providing clear direction, coaching, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
    • Monitor production processes to identify and address any potential issues or bottlenecks, maintaining a high sense of urgency to minimize disruptions.
    • Maintain KPIs, manage line/area efficiencies and production downtime
    • Analyze data to determine appropriate corrective action response.
    • Ensure efficient use of equipment and labor to meet production targets and deadlines.
    • Manages overall packaging and product quality to ensure required standards and specifications are achieved.
    • Collaborate with quality, maintenance, and warehouse teams to address equipment issues and ensure preventive maintenance schedules are followed.
  • Sanitation & Food Safety
    • Lead all plant sanitation activities including CIP/COP, chemical safety, and environmental oversight.
    • Manage Master Sanitation Schedule and environmental monitoring programs
    • Develop and maintain sanitation procedures, records, and metrics (e.g., chemical usage, test results).
    • Support QA during audits (SQF, FDA, customer) and ensure compliance with food safety standards.
  • Team Leadership and Development:
    • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that prioritizes safety and continuous improvement.
    • Coach, mentor, and train team members to develop their skills and knowledge.
    • Provide constructive feedback and performance evaluations to support individual and team growth.
    • Empower team members to identify and implement process improvements, fostering a culture of ownership.
  • Quality and Compliance:
    • Ensure strict adherence to all safety regulations and procedures, leading by example and conducting safety, quality, and training audits.
    • Maintain accurate production records and reports.

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years in food or beverage manufacturing; 2+ years in a supervisory role.
  • Experience with production processes, sanitation programs, and CIP systems.
  • Strong understanding of Safety, GMPs, food safety regulations, and audit preparedness.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and work flexible hours/shifts as needed.

COMPENSATION At Health-Ade, we know our strongest assets are our people, and we recognize our total compensation package is a huge factor in how you are recognized for the impact you have on the company reaching its goals. For this role, the estimated base salary range is between $75,000 - $85,000 . The actual base salary will vary based on various factors, such as market location, level of experience, and job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This role will remain posted until filled.
