The Heart of House Key Hourly partners with the Management team to assist with the daily operating procedures in the kitchen to support team members, guest interaction, product quality and overall restaurant cleanliness while following TFK standards.
What you will be doing:
- Lead and support kitchen staff during shifts
- Ensure food quality, recipe accuracy, and presentation standards
- Conduct line checks and oversee prep levels and freshness
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized kitchen environment
- Enforce food safety and sanitation procedures
- Assist with inventory, waste reduction, and stock rotation
- Train and coach new and existing team members
- Run expo and support high-volume service periods
- Communicate effectively between FOH and BOH teams
- Interact with guests as needed to resolve kitchen-related concerns
- Monitor equipment functionality and submit maintenance requests
- Complete pre-shift line ups, shift paperwork, logs, and basic administrative tasks
We look for people who:
- Have a strong attention to detail, well organized and able to multi-task. High level of personal initiative, action and results oriented
- 1 - 2 years restaurant supervisor experience, preferably as a Supervisor in a high-volume restaurant
- Must possess exceptional written and oral communication skills, high level of personal integrity, strong interpersonal and motivational skills, the ability to effectively supervise and instill cooperation in staff, and the ability to work well under pressure
- Must have or be willing to get ServSafe Certification
- Experience in Aloha preferred
