Tandem Foods is seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our team as Packer Palletizers. In this role, you will be responsible for packing, palletizing, and preparing products for shipment in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. This is an essential position that requires a high level of attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work efficiently while maintaining safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lift, carry, and stack 10-20 lb boxes, often picking up 2-3 boxes at a time and placing them onto pallets.
- Properly stack pallets to ensure safe and organized shipping of products.
- Wrap finished pallets securely for shipment.
- Perform routine checks to ensure product quality and accuracy.
- Maintain a fast-paced work environment while meeting production goals and deadlines.
- Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Stand, bend, and reach throughout the entire shift, performing repetitive motions.
Qualifications:
- Ability to lift, carry, and stack boxes weighing 10-20 lbs consistently.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production targets.
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Must be a team player with a strong work ethic.
- Must be able to understand the English language to follow instructions and communicate effectively in a team environment.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting is a plus.
