Your Role:

As the Director of Revenue Growth, you will lead and create RGM capabilities, providing thought leadership and support for Vital Farms around pricing strategy, bracket pricing, and promotional ROI You will work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Trade within FP&A. You will combine category, business operational dynamics, and Cogs alongside of your analytic skills to create the right, sustainable mix for growth. This person will be able to make recommendations that incorporate cross-functional feedback and meet both business dynamics with company objectives. This person is a blend of research and analytical prowess combined with a business perspective.

What You'll Do

  • Reports directly into Vice President of Business Development & Strategy.
  • You will work cross functionally with Sales, Marketing, IBP, Finance & Trade to take over current pricing process and improve.
  • Own the Pricing & Merchandising Strategy within Vital Farms “MAPS” Guidance. (Merchandising, Assortment, Pricing, & Shelving)
  • Work with Sales & FP&A to design meaningful and system generated ROI- KPIS, dashboards, etc. and assess promotional strategy go forward.
  • Long term assessment of capabilities surrounding systems and operational capabilities for bracket pricing and incorporating pick up pricing.
  • Collaborate with IBP team to ensure pricing strategy is incorporated into the demand plan and any gaps are solved through the IBP process
  • Build a strategy around current mix and future Price Pack Architecture & Pack Size Innovation as we venture into new channels.
  • Understand industry trends and macro trends to continue to capture new opportunities and evolve the RGM process
  • Works well with colleagues, fostering a highly productive team that thrives in an environment of teamwork. Actively works to share best practices throughout the organization
  • Thinks in a clear, decisive manner, remains calm under adverse conditions, and reaches independent, reasoned solutions when required
  • Able to navigate consultants and contracts to build capability and understanding.
  • Technology Integration: Identify and implement revenue management technologies and software solutions to automate processes, enhance data accuracy, and drive efficiency.

What You Bring to the Table

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business, etc. with 10+ years of experience
  • Previous experience of same role in CPG background with a mix of commercial and financial mindset.
  • Established relationships and demonstrated success working cross functionally.
  • Ability to create concise, easy to read selling materials based on findings.
  • Ability to Lead, Train & Develop Others
  • Strong thought leadership and influencing skills.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills along with excellent interpersonal, written/oral communication and presentation skills, including full competence with Microsoft Office
  • Good working knowledge of integration of Spins/Nielsen data into systems.
  • Master Excel able to manipulate & create extremely advanced workbooks.
  • Demonstrated analytical and critical thinking skills; ability to identify root causes - link strategies and objectives to develop compelling stories and recommended actions.
  • Ability to proactively set and lead productive meeting agendas.
  • Proven Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
  • Demonstrated ability to excel in an autonomous, hands-on, fast paced entrepreneurial environment.
  • Highly adaptable & resourceful. Pioneering spirit.
  • Ability to travel as needed for team meetings, etc. Anticipate 10% Travel.
