What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Assist in managing the schedule laid out by the Logistics and Warehouse Operations Leadership
  • Set daily objectives and communicate to employees
  • Ensure all appropriate KPI communication reaches all Shipping Associates
  • Guide the crew to align with the strategy for 100% attainment in both picking accuracy and loading/unloading time
  • Guide the crew to ensure proper organization of the warehouse and proper picking rotation (FIFO)
  • Work directly with Shift Supervisors and Production Managers to align production goals and shipping goals
  • Ensures all new employees get properly trained
  • Ensure all personnel safety and food safety procedures are followed without exception
  • Anticipate problems and make quick decisions under pressure
  • Lead daily direction setting meetings when required
  • Provide verbal and/or written recommendations Logistics and Warehouse operations Leadership concerning problems or issues.
  • Recognize that daily success is not measured in numbers alone but how our core values are exemplified throughout our day to day activities.
  • Lead and develop operators by creating equipment and process owners.
  • Lead with a positive attitude and mindset.

What you bring to the table:

  • Two plus years related experience or equivalent.
  • Experience leading & supervising a team.
  • Strong inventory control skills.
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations best practices.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in supervising and motivating subordinates.
  • Commitment to excellence and high standards.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing.
  • priorities with enthusiasm.
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees.
  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to deal effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels.
  • Forklift certified or able to become forklift certified.
  • Must comply with all safety requirements.
