Your Role:

Reporting to the Director of Capital Projects, the Project Manager will be responsible for supporting continuous improvement initiatives as well as driving business growth in partnership with our dedicated project management team. You’ll be instrumental in ensuring a high degree of efficiency and executional excellence. This is an opportunity to directly impact the growth trajectory of the Vital Farms brand!

What You’ll Do:

  • Act as the hub across cross-functional team members to drive executional excellence.
  • Develop and manage project scoping, budget estimation, implementation plan, risk mitigation, timelines, milestones, weekly meeting agendas, follow-up notes and assigning cross-functional tasks.
  • Establish and maintain processes for managing scope during the project lifecycle, setting quality and performance standards, and assessing risks.
  • Cultivate partnerships with third-party resources, including vendors, engineers, and contractors, to ensure project success
  • Communicate project status and milestones to key partners and ensure teams are accountable to complete tasks at hand.
  • Support the mitigation of project risks and hurdles, acting as the catalyst to overcome obstacles and drive resolution with the support of the cross-functional team.
  • Performs data analysis of production processes and recommends improvements.
  • Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution

What You Bring to the Table:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience managing projects.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering
  • Professional certifications (PMP) is preferred.
  • A bias for action to drive initiatives forward in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven ability to deliver projects on time, on budget, and in scope.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skill set.
  • Skilled with PowerPoint, Excel, Word, or Microsoft Project
  • Flexibility to adapt to change and address complex challenges.
  • Ability to guide processes, while developing creative solutions to meet changing business needs.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to foster strong cross-functional and coaching relationships.

  • 5+ years of experience in project management
  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent professional experience
  • PMP or other project management certification is preferred
