Your Role:
Reporting to the Manager, Talent Acquisition & Recruiting Strategy, the Associate Talent Acquisition Partner will partner with our remote crew to hire A-players to support Vital Farm. You’ll run the recruiting process from start to finish with a focus on providing a positive experience for all stakeholders. Hiring needs are quickly evolving as we work to reach our North Star and you will be an integral part in guiding Vital Farms hiring teams along with way. You will develop strong relationships within the business in order to anticipate needs and adapt to changes with an appropriate sense of urgency.
What You'll Do:
- Build strong candidate pipelines through an online presence on recruiting platforms and through proactive and strategic sourcing methods.
- Seamlessly manage all aspects of candidate activity through our applicant tracking system
- Follow a clearly defined recruiting process, ensuring a positive experience for all internal and external stakeholders for roles you are assigned
- Evaluate candidates using pre-employment assessments and the WHO interview method
- In partnership with the TA Manager, work closely with the hiring managers to develop detailed job profiles, scorecards and job descriptions that provide clear goals and expectations as well as a realistic preview
- Efficiently move potential candidates through the interview process with a high level of customer service
- Support the development of the Vital Farms Internship Programs for early career talent under the guidance of the Talent Acquisition Partner
- Collaborate on special projects within the Talent Acquisition team as well as the broader People team as requested by your manager
What You Bring to the Table:
- Candidate must be located in Southern Indiana
- Bachelor’s degree in business management or HR; candidates with equivalent direct work experience considered
- Minimum 1 year of direct recruiting experience; blend of remote and in-person as well as hourly and salaried candidate management preferred
- Proven experience with ATS and HRIS platforms as well as leveraging other recruiting platforms (i.e.: Indeed, LinkedIn); Greenhouse experience is preferred
- You are available to travel 15-20% of the time for career fairs, industry events, onboarding trips, team meetings and other business needs
- Proficient in Microsoft systems including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail & accuracy
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written) with the ability to work cross-functionally across the organization
- You’re proactive and solutions-focused; you don’t wait to be asked to solve a problem.
- You are focused on customer service and provide a top-notch experience to candidates and internal stakeholders.
- You can work comfortably under minimal direct supervision; note that your manager will be based remotely.

At Vital Farms, compensation decisions are dependent upon a variety of factors, which may include, but are not limited to, skill level, experience, education, training, market demands, and business needs. A reasonable estimate of the current starting annual base salary for this position is $50,000 - $70,000. Please keep in mind that hiring at the maximum end of the range would not be typical in order to allow for potential continued future salary growth.
